In order to characterize the two types of particles with totally opposing functions, it is necessary to perform a differential quantification measuring the total Apo CIII in neat serum and then in serum treated with anti-Apo B such that Apo CIII LP non B can be determined. The difference between the rockets obtained from neat serum and those obtained from the treated serum allows the determination of the amount of particles containing Apo B and Apo CIII.
