Eliminating the need for any manual pipetting, the HydraPLUS™ delivers precise micro-volumes of sample directly from primary tubes to four HYDRASYS sample applicators contained in a built-in humidity chamber.
The HydraPLUS™ system is designed to ensure fast sample processing while eliminating  any risk of sample contamination or evaporation. Up to 216 samples can be prepared every hour.
HYDRASYS sample applicators can be prepared and stored for up to 8 hours prior to processing on the HYDRASYS so workflow can be effectively optimized.
Programming of the HydraPLUS™ is very flexible, allowing either standard or any customized sample dilution to be performed. As an option, dilution ratios or a desired concentration may be directly entered into the system. This is particularly useful with immunofixation techniques.
The Positive Identification option on the HydraPLUS™ is designed to provide uninterrupted sample tracking from primary tube to sample applicator to gel to final result on the PHORESIS or HYRYS 2. A worklist is created when barcoded samples are loaded on to the HydraPLUS. Agarose gels are pre-printed with unique barcodes for tracking from tube to final result assuring uninterrupted sample identification.
